thinking of Afghanistan, what comes to your mind then?

i think of that terrible Burqa

and the cruel Taliban ....

😳😳😳

I remember how all the MAGA MAGGOTS 47 blamed Mr. Biden for the pull out when it was 47 who signed the original agreement. He sold out the Afghan Government and made the wit h the "Terrible Taliban". 47 never met with Afghan Government or the Afghan Government. 47 is a surrender monkey. He did to Afghanistan exactly what Nixon did to South Viet Nam, He did a cut and run. IF 47 had been in office, you people would have cheering,

The epitome of evil, especially when it comes to their women. Not long ago, the Taliban government (such as it is) came out with a decree that women were no longer to talk to each other.
While we were there, we should have had our female military personnel go around and ask the women and girls if they wanted to be free from their oppression and any who would say yes, well they should have been given free transport out and a start here in the US or other nation of their choice.

Multiculties Go Ape

The Afghans are mountain monkeys. Kipling warned us long ago.

When you're wounded and left
In Afghanistan's plains

And their women come up
To dig out your remains

Roll over to your rifle
And blow out your brains

To go to God looking like a soldier.

And 47's inked the agreement that gave power in that country in February 2020. Biden did NOT take office until 2021. 47 is a surrender monkey.

U.S. AND Taliban Sign Deal Aimed At Ending War In Afghanistan.

DOHA, Qatar (AP) — Acknowledging a military stalemate after nearly two decades of conflict, the United States on Saturday signed a peace agreement with the Taliban that is aimed at ending America’s longest war and bringing U.S. troops home from Afghanistan more than 18 years after they invaded in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The historic deal, signed by chief negotiators from the two sides and witnessed by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, could see the withdrawal of all American and allied forces in the next 14 months and allow President Donald Trump to keep a key campaign pledge to extract the U.S. from “endless wars.” But it could also easily unravel, particularly if the Taliban fail to meet their commitments.

At the White House, Trump told reporters the U.S. deserves credit for having helped Afghanistan take a step toward peace. He spoke cautiously of the deal’s prospects for success and cautioned the Taliban against violating their commitments.

This deal was inked February 29, 2020. Pompeo was 47's SecState. This agreement came fully Eleven (11) months before Joe Biden took office. This whole shit storm can be at the of a man who never served a day of his miserable life in uniform.

I think of a country that was invaded by its neighbors. The Soviets, the Americans, and now it is under the Taliban. A country of unfortunate suffering and unjust invasions from both the Soviets and the Americans. Now it is a theocratic dictatorship under the Taliban, people who violently crack down on anyone who opposes their narrow religious view of things.

Afghanistan was given a choice to either hand over Osama or suffer the consequences. They chose the latter.

You were not talking about that! You said the invasion. We had no other choice. The Russians had a choice.
The invasion, if it was to be justifiable, we would have done a quick job and the Taliban would be gone, but we didn't, we dropped the ball hard, and now all that money, those men and women who lost their lives - it was all utterly meaningless. I don't support the invasion at all, but if it was successful in a short time span, it could have been arguable.

I suppose you have the military expertise to back up that with sound reasoning. How exactly did we drop the ball?

Just so you know, I am the father of an Afghanistan War veteran.

20+ years wasted. Billions of dollars of military equipment left behind along with the deaths of 13 soldiers during our pull out. That is dropping the ball. All under an incompetent Administration. Under the watch of Biden.

I think of resourceful tribesmen who valiantly and successfully fight back when superior, more highly developed powers invade them.....eventually expelling them and making them look stupid...and forcing them to use their billion-dollar media establishments to explain to the world how it never really happened.

Once again, you said the invasion was unjust. Do you wish to extend and amplify your remarks?

The Taliban gave the Americans a choice to either go home or suffer the consequences, be slaughtered, and be kicked out of Aghanistan anyway. They chose the latter.
