It seems that the justice department has decided that the investigations of Donald Trump during and after the 2016 elections is something that a grand jury should be looking at, based on information provided by the nation's top intelligence official.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has ordered the Justice Department to move forward with a probe into the origins of the Donald Trump‑Russia investigation, following the release of documents aimed at casting doubt on the legitimacy of the inquiry that determined Moscow interfered in the 2016 election to help the Republican nominee.

What Happens Next

Bondi has directed a prosecutor to present evidence to a grand jury after referrals from the Trump administration's top intelligence official, according to a person familiar with the matter who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it publicly. Fox News first reported the development.
It is easy now for what happened during those years to fade from memory, as more immediate concerns take our attention. But I believe we must remember the events and actions of our own government during those years. Otherwise, if indictments come down and criminal trials begin, those who believe that the Russia Collusion Investigations were valid exercises will be sandbagged and think 'where is this coming from?'

This is special prosecutor Robert Meuller testifying about the "Mueller Report," of which he likely wrote not a word, other than signing his name:

Skip to 2:20, and you will see Mueller explaining why innocent people are often harmed by such investigations. Yet, the investigations go on anyway. Mueller's point is that this is why such investigations should be done as quickly as possible.

No doubt the current DOJ will move quickly, and the investigation will not be dragged out and slow-walked, as the Russia Collusion investigation was.

I'll be posting other memories of the Russia Collusion investigation, and I invite you to also.

I remember when CNN said that Carter Paige was the real target of the FBI and not Trump. They also mocked Trump's claim that he was spied on by Obama and company

But come to find out, Trump was right all along and vindicated. Not only was Trump spied on during both campaigns for President, he was also the main target.

Here is Rod Rosenstein being asked by Jim Jordan about the stonewalling by the FBI.

Of course Rosenstein plays the "I'm to high up to know any details" card. He claims that the FBI is being fully responsive to Congress, but doesn't have any explanation as to why things are redacted and why documents are not being provided. Also, why key witness are being told not to answer questions.

But, they are being fully responsive . . .

Here Trey Gowdy berates Rosenstein and Chris Wray over the seeming endlessness of the investigation. Those are the two most descriptive phrases of the Russia Hoax Investigation: Slow-walking and stone-walling.

"If you have evidence of wrongdoing by any member of the Trump campaign present it to the damn grand jury. If you have evidence that this president acted inappropriately present it to the American people. There's an old saying that justice delayed is justice denied. I think right now all of us are being denied. Whatever you got, finish it the hell up, because this country is being torn apart."

At that point, years into the supposed investigation, I don't think that they are trying to "get Trump." For the first year, and maybe the second year, that was the goal, and they were determined to meet it.

By the time of this video, both men knew that - as Peter Strzok had feared - there was no big there there. No little there, either, as far as Trump being culpable.

Now the idea as to keep it going, to avoid having to admit that they found nothing, and in hopes of somehow swaying the election of 2020.

This is Trey Gowdy asking former FBI Director James Comey about the Clinton email Investigation.

That was seperate from the Trump Russia Hoax investigation, in theory. In practice many of the same strongly anti-Trump lawyers and investigators that went after Trump were assigned to that investigation.

Contrast the speed with which they closed the investigation of Clinton - rightfully so, there was an election going on in which she was a key player - with the slow-walking to find zero evidence of Trump colluding with Russia.

Listen to Robert Mueller refuse to answer almost every question asked about basic parts of his own report:

22 months of investigation and all the people who wrote that report for Mueller could come up with was to "not exonerate him."
