It seems that the justice department has decided that the investigations of Donald Trump during and after the 2016 elections is something that a grand jury should be looking at, based on information provided by the nation's top intelligence official.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has ordered the Justice Department to move forward with a probe into the origins of the Donald Trump‑Russia investigation, following the release of documents aimed at casting doubt on the legitimacy of the inquiry that determined Moscow interfered in the 2016 election to help the Republican nominee.
It is easy now for what happened during those years to fade from memory, as more immediate concerns take our attention. But I believe we must remember the events and actions of our own government during those years. Otherwise, if indictments come down and criminal trials begin, those who believe that the Russia Collusion Investigations were valid exercises will be sandbagged and think 'where is this coming from?'
This is special prosecutor Robert Meuller testifying about the "Mueller Report," of which he likely wrote not a word, other than signing his name:
Skip to 2:20, and you will see Mueller explaining why innocent people are often harmed by such investigations. Yet, the investigations go on anyway. Mueller's point is that this is why such investigations should be done as quickly as possible.
No doubt the current DOJ will move quickly, and the investigation will not be dragged out and slow-walked, as the Russia Collusion investigation was.
I'll be posting other memories of the Russia Collusion investigation, and I invite you to also.

Bondi has directed a prosecutor to present evidence to a grand jury after referrals from the Trump administration's top intelligence official, according to a person familiar with the matter who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it publicly.
