Once again the Trump administration is caught in a lie. This time it's about Tren De Agua.

'They Just Made Sh*t Up': Declassified Spy Memo Undercuts Trump Pretext for Deportations to El Salvador

A memo released Monday by the Trump administration in response to a Freedom of Information Act request confirmed that U.S. intelligence agencies never agreed with President Donald Trump's claim in March that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro controls the criminal gang Tren de Aragua—an assertion that was used to justify sending hundreds of migrants to a notorious Salvadoran prison.

LOL.

U.S. intelligence agencies, a rotten group if ever there was one, undercutting a president has been a long term part of their existence. Ask JFK if you could, or Nixon if you could, or GW (Saddam and WMD's).

Read the document here:
“Analysts said they had not collected information about communications or funding exchanges between Venezuelan officials and leaders of Tren de Aragua.”

So, that one’s saying that TdA is NIT connected did no work, but we feel that TdA is not connected with Maduro.

Stellar

Lol, the gang is directly regulated by Maduro. So, keep posting fake shit from activist websites until you get someone to agree with you.

The existence of the memo has been known for a few weeks but it's now oddly been declassified. I say oddly cuz most admin's wouldn't want a damning document like this one to be out in the open. Yet, maybe it's telling that it's been released. Perhaps it shows how contemptuous the regime is of the public knowing the justification for deporting Garcia and the other 200+ men without due process is horseshit.

The thing is, the public isn't the regime's only concern. The report gives the courts even more of a pretense for holding the it in contempt because it was issued internally before the deportations occurred. trump, Homan, Miller, Bondi, Noem, Hegseth, Gabbard, they all knew the deportation absent a trial rationale was rubbish, being based on the conditions allowed by the AEA, but they did it anyway. Such are the ways of this lawless regime.

The Washington Post first reported on the existence of the memo, and before that the Times reported that intelligence called into question assertions about the cartel and its ties to the Venezuelan government.

The Trump administration has sharply criticized media coverage of the issue as misleading and announced leak investigations related to the Post and Times reporting. The Justice Department cited the media reporting as an impetus to roll back limits on leak investigations.

Lauren Harper of the Freedom of the Press Foundation said the memo undermines the administration’s claims that the information in the document could pose a danger to public safety.

The media obtaining now public information about the report has been used as a pretense to launch leak investigations by the regime. Everyone can now see why trumples were upset that existence of the document was reported.
