That has often struck me though I haven't paid all that much attention to the eyes. But those on the hardcore left, most especially those who go out of their way to hurt others physically or verbally, seem so robotlike like to me. No joy. No appreciation. No understanding. No ability for independent thought or thinking. No emotion other than being offended and anger and hate.

Even what passes for humor for them is intended to hurt those different from them. Just mindless creatures going through destructive motions together. They don't seem to have a lot else to live for. It's pretty grim and horrifying.
