You know what my opinion of academics is. They sit around in insular groups and circle jerk each other with verbal virtuosity. I got my hands dirty and worked long hours. By the way, I do not hate the world or blame groups for my mistakes. This guy is making headway to changing my mind about lettered educated people:

The guy knows what he is talking about, but the fact remains that the Democrats would have won this election if they had not come up with such a shit candidate. Anyone but Biden or Harris would have won easily, so it's not productive to draw a lot of broad conclusions.

The Ivory Tower is real.

TRUMP got more votes than any other republican, he easily won the primary in 2016 against many top republicans, did the same in 2020.
What democrat do you think could have been TRUMP? Keep in mind TRUMP's momentum was able turn black people against Obama, so that leaves out Big Mike.

VP Spiro Agnew said it in the 70's...

"Education is being redefined at the demand of the uneducated to suit the ideas of the uneducated. The student now goes to college to proclaim, rather than to learn. The lessons of the past are ignored and obliterated, and a contemporary antagonism known as “The Generation Gap.” A spirit of national masochism prevails, encouraged by an effete core of impudent snobs who characterize themselves as intellectuals."

"Most of these young people who depend upon the ideology of ‘the movement’ for moral and mental sustenance will in time . . . return to the enduring values, just as every generation before them has done. But unfortunately, there is a much smaller group of students who are committed to radical change through violent means. . . . This is the criminal left that belongs not in a dormitory but in a penitentiary…"
