What are "other" works? how did you decide what "other" works are? A Catholic Bible contains the apocrypha, Catholics regard them as the Word of God, why don't you?
Like what?
That's what it is, ancient literature from foreign cultures.
The Bible is a collection of ancient literature, established over decades by Roman theological councils.
Why though?
Why do you say that? everything I've said is true.
Why do you ask 'what other works'. Post #(236) you asked what Bible? Post #(237), I told you the King James. Post #(238), you ask what I do with other works? Post #(239) I tell you the other works are not of God. Now you ask in post #(240), What other works. You brought up 'other works'. I have told you about other works. Name any 'other work you like. I will tell you the same. Why do you repeat your question?
I don't consider the apocrypha part of the Bible because it has been rejected by the Palestinian Jews as Scripture. Apocrypha is Old Testament And the Jews are who recognize the Canon of the Old Testament, not the Church. The Roman Church tried to 'canonize' the apocrypha so as to help fight against the Reformation. Which they had no business doing.
Like anything we talk about concerning the Bible.
As I said, then the Bible has no authority if it is just ancient literature of foreign countries. So, you don't need to be concerned about it.
I believe the Bible is the Word of God because I am a believer. A child of God.
No, you don't believe the Bibe is the Word of God. Why do you tell me all you have said is true?
