  • Would you rather be God, or would you rather there be no God? Why?
  • Is your life centered on putting God and his plan first, or putting yourself, your wants, your needs first?
  • Can we know what God’s plan is for our own life? How?

1. I don't have a preference, but "creation" seems to imply a "creator."
2. I subscribe to Maslow's hierarchy. I don't pretend to understand God's plan.
3. Ditto. I am not a fan of the heaven-or-hell approach to mortality.

1. My choice is neither. I definitely do not want to be God--however, I want there to be God.

2. I stick with contemplating God's plan for my life. I've always started with the plan that I am to know God, love God, and serve God. When I try to see God's plan for my life, Jeremiah always comes to mind. It seems God had a clear plan for Jeremiah's life, Mary's life, Peter's life, Paul's life. As for mine....I cannot bear to see a worm struggling on a hot sidewalk. I'm always rescuing worms, which means depriving ants of a tasty dead worm, and perhaps providing a bird a tasty, live worm. Was God's plan for me to rescue worms? (Yes, I'm joking to some extent, but I do wonder if I have missed God's plan for my life.)

3. I was thinking more of God's plan for our life here on earth. Was God's plan for me to be a teacher, or did I miss out on another calling? I believe God has a plan of service for us in the next life--that this life may be a job interview for what comes next. I think of handing over my resume of this life and the resume reading, 'Rescues worms'.

just a silly post ...

monotheism at best is misunderstood - jesus taught all in the heavens are equals including whoever desert dwellers refer to as their mr big - (or) do they worship trump - is trump better than them ... that's where their candy is they are addicted to.

the heavens are for everyone just as our gov't is for everyone - not just the selfish.

purity is what binds them together.
