One of the worst atrocities of the last two years - if not the worst - is what's being done to Yemen. But because the primary culprits are the US, UK and their Saudi partners, it gets virtually no attention.

Exxon got booted out of Yemen in 06, and Tillerson is gun ho for SA, revenge I guess. Its horrible what is happening there, just awful.

That attack was supposedly the work of al Qaeda, a Sunni extremist group with ties to Saudi Arabia. Although there are many Sunnis in former South Yemen, and parts of former Northern Yemen.

Yeah, the newer attacks were supposedly by Houthis, older attacks by al Quaeda in 2000.

The attacks by the Houthis were after the Saudi attacks on Yemen.

It's a mess and North Yemen shouldn't have united with South Yemen.
