This will freak some folks out....

The United States is now the country with the second most Spanish speakers, only behind Mexico, according to the report "Spanish: A Living Language 2024".

This report by David Fernández, professor at the University of Alcalá, in Spain , highlights that the United States, with just over 57.4 million Spanish speakers, has ousted Colombia, with around 52.6 million, as the second country with the most speakers.

Mexico has around 132 million, Spain more than 48, Argentina around 47, Venezuela and Peru 34 each country, Chile 20, Ecuador and Guatemala 17 each, Bolivia 12, Cuba and the Dominican Republic around 11 in each case, almost 10 Honduras, more than 7 both Paraguay and Nicaragua, more than 6 El Salvador, around 5 Costa Rica, another 4.5 Panama, just over 3 both Uruguay and Puerto Rico and around 1.6 Equatorial Guinea.

These figures include those who speak it as their native language along with those who have limited competence due to factors such as sharing it with other languages, including indigenous languages, or having learned it, such as migrants who have arrived in countries such as Spain.

I am working on joining the ranks of those that can speak it.

Democrats should start talking in Spanish instead of the racist English and be done with the white man's language.

Only time I have been around it at that level was my 3 years living in Yuma Az.

I plan to be fluent in it before we move to Panama.

It does add more reasons for people to kill each other. Added to the others.

So, you kill people that speak a different language than you?

Damn dude, that is pretty harsh.

Why not just learn to live and let live, why do you have to be so full of hate for anyone that does not look and now I guess talk just like you?

Well a couple of things.

1. Spanish is a European language. Spain is in Europe. It's roots are Latin and while English isn't, around 60% of English vocabulary is borrowed from Latin words.

2. The only reason you win Florida is because of the large Spanish speaking Cuban population down here. You might want to learn a little yourself.

At what point to Democrats start speaking in Spanish instead of English do you think?

Plenty of them already do. Plenty of Republicans too. That's my point you dumb Bingo. It's the natural result of more whites getting replaced with more Spanish speakers.
When should the schools teach Spanish as the primary language instead of English?

I guess when your children are demographic minorities. Down here in South Florida my partly Cuban niece went to a fancy middle school in Weston where they did Math one day in English and the next in Spanish and so on with all their classes.
