The point is that the federal government has accumulated so much power in excess of what is constitutionally permissible, and has utilized to engage in ultra vires acts to abuse its power, there is simply no choice but to get rid of the existing unconstitutional structure (e.g., the administrative state) and all of the corrupted personnel.
This is not anti-American by any sort of measure. It is pro-constitutional. It’s like how some of us respect life and find value in it beyond utilitarianism. Yet, when some skeevy person commits an atrocious act (rape, murder, hurting children, etc…) the danger of allowing such a person to exist and function in our society going forward, along with the need to avenge the fallen and deter others from the same action, outweighs our feelings about life’s intrinsic value. So we fry that sick fucker until his eyeballs melt.
See, promoting life while supporting the death penalty is not at all inconsistent. It’s only construed as inconsistent by idiots on the left who misinterpret our values. Life IS of a high value in and of itself IF it is utilized in a virtuous way. But if it is used for evil, then not so much. Again, this raises the dichotomy of individualism vs. the collective, which confused people on the left (who nothing about the value of leading a virtuous life, and are generally stupid and ignorant on most things) don’t really understand. Let’s face it, most on the left just don’t know shit.
Even though Democrats have seized control of the WH and have a lot of power in Congress, that does not make them “the government”. The government belongs to the People per the constitution. Elected officials are the political actors in Our Government. The same goes for the GOP, though they are not nearly as authoritarian as the Democrats.
The constitution is the law of the land, not any group of corruptible politicians. J6 protesters, for example, were not trying to “overthrow the U.S. government”. They were trying to save Our Government from the Democrat trash people. No, I do not approve of what they did. But that is not the point. The point is that the government is Our Government, it belongs to the People. It does not belong to one party or another.
It is imperative that we have effective checks on power and that we maintain federalism in order to prevent an an accumulation of power. Men will abuse the power we give them at times. Only a virtuous man will not do so.
We should never conflate politicians and bureaucrats with the government. An attack on one is not necessarily an attack on the other. We the People control the government per the constitution. Politicians and bureaucrats are merely their work the machinations. When people start claiming they are the government, they are abusing their powers and must be removed instanter.

The Union Is Not a Suicide Pact
Comey: I am the law. Fauci: I am the science. Deep State: We are your democracy. Federal Reserve: We are your freedom. This kind of authoritarianism does not belong in America. &nbs...
