With the announcement of the F-47 it appears it will be a cohesive unit that can apparently fight with drones if my understanding is correct. It will be a sort of blitzkrieg concept from the skies to maintain air superiority in the event of war. These drones must also be the most advanced,.equipped with the best engines and A.I programmed.by.the most creative programmers. All while the U.S streamlines your budget and eliminates waste. Can it be done? Let's not forget the.naval requirements.for the South Pacific. All of this is critical and defense companies have to focus on lower costs per unit and larger volume in my opinion, they need to give back to the U.S government as grave danger lurks in the next decade. The U.S MUST succeed and demand Europe do far more, Canada too, the.time for talking is over. Another good argument for tariffs: companies who employ overseas can help fund the U.S military budget and Western safety while cutting into your debt in the process

I don't think so.

“Why is there so much acceptance of and so little protest against our government’s illegal and immoral wars and other military operations? Why is there mostly silence about the death and destruction that wars and even the preparation for war inflict on people, including the troops, and on the environment? Why is there so little concern about the potential for the extinction of human and other life posed by nuclear war, now seen as an ‘option’ by the US and other militaries?” - Joan Roelofs

February: Trump plans to half military spending.
April: Trump approves historic $1 trillion defense budget.

We do need to find a way to reduce the costs of building military hardware. We have wasted trillions of dollars over the years on projects that have gotten us very little. Military projects today have massive cost overruns and are years behind schedule with many still having issues to be fixed even if active.

I’ve got a better idea. Just stop all of it. It’s nothing but fraud. A money making racket for a few big corporations with kickbacks to the two criminal gangs.

Time to close the Pentagon and convert it to a homeless shelter and Terminate the Chiefs of Staff.

  • America has a host of problems associated with the medical syndrome known as the 'military-industrial complex'. The US defence industry is a hotbed of collusion to make vast amounts of money; on one side are huge contractors like Lockheed-Martin and General Dynamics, on the other the military, whose officers often 'retire' to new, well-paying jobs within the civilian side.Caught in between, I suppose, are the Congresspersons from districts with military bases and/or defence industry factories, shipyards, etc. These representatives are beholden to donations from billiionaires to get reelected; and of course their constituents won't vote for them unless they support all those local jobs.Long story short, America spends astronomical amounts on defence, both what we can see and what we can't, meaning 'black budget' projects, so highly classified that there is virtually no Congressional oversight. But does the USN get what it needs from these cozy arrangements and unsupervised budgets? No. It is perennially short of spare parts for its ships, ships and equipment is often behind schedule and over budget, and entire new types of ship are built then later determined to be of little use (the Zumwalt destroyers and Littoral Combat Ships come to mind). The mil-industrial complex needs to be taken in hand somehow. This would mean a fierce political war like none seen in decades, but would that be any worse than losing the next big war with overpriced, underperforming ships, and the lives of thousands, perhaps millions, of people?

With $36 trillion in debt and now Trump’s trillion dollar annual war budget, it seems likely the US can’t afford to continue being a garrison state and military oligarchy. The massive national debt along with the enormous corruption within the War Department, it may implode on its own.

We can only hope.

General Mark Milley Tells Bankers: “Thank You for Your Service”

October 29, 2024 - Milley’s remarks give the impression that the Pentagon’s top brass is just as much at a loss for how to handle our forever wars as anyone. “As General Milley enjoys a well-deserved retirement, he’s actually busier than ever, and among his new responsibilities, he’s now a senior advisor to JP Morgan ...

A protracted conventional war is not good for us. We would have to destroy near all of their production facilities, and they have many manufacturing plants. We could not keep up in production. What makes it dangerous is that WMD's would then be considered.

The main reason more people don't just go all in with opposing the US empire and rejecting all its propaganda about enemy states is because they can't handle working through the heavy cognitive dissonance which comes with recognizing that everything you've been taught is a lie. -Caitlin Johnstone

Stop believing propaganda designed to benefit the state and .01%.

Does your Constitution mean anything in America? Because my Charter of Right doesn't, It's a paperweight.

Does your Security Industry Complex (if one exists) maintain a caste system so that those born poor, die poor? My country does. America is a major subsidizer of this knowingly or not (I assume it is mostly not known).

At best, you are free and we are not. At worst, you have the lesser of two evils.

No. The Constitution is violated everyday all day by the government, without consequences.

The military industrial complex is but one powerful entity that controls the government.

The American people have almost no say in what the government does, but the .01% gets whatever they want.

Many Americans haven’t yet figured out this isn’t a republic or democracy. It’s a rapacious oligarchy. We still have a few visages of liberty, but it’s rapidly disappearing.

Canada can spend it's military budget on new breweries while the U.S. protects North America.
