If the EU becomes involved then Russia will have to depend on the Brics countries getting involved. Ironic but both the EU and the Brics are already involved within the rules of proxy wars. Trading off China getting into against thr EU getting into it isn't a good trade.

As to nuclear war: First we can consider that nobody wins, and everybody loses everything. Then maybe we can consider the future of wars with conventional weapons only.

Russia is pushing the boundaries on proxy war rules by starting to dismantle Kiev. The Ukrainians are so far forbidden by the US to try a major strike on Moscow. I think that if they do then Russia will get America involved.

What do you think on that?

If I haven't told you, I should now. All my comments and thinking on the war is that it's America's war against Russia. And I could add that I don't think Trump will call the shots on ending it or keeping it going. Are you with me on that?

First off, I value the conversation with you.

My first interest is in trying to convince Americans that their country has established that nuclear war is out of the question. Once everybody can wrap their minds around that concept, the discussion can begin.

But it brings with it some rather uncomfortable conclusions on a never-ending war with conventional weapons.

1. Russians are dying and America can sit back and watch.
