Cornyn launched new ads this week, with support from the National Republican Senatorial Committee, that hammer Paxton in ways that could hurt him in the general election too: highlighting his messy ongoing divorce and accusations of corruption and calling Paxton a “wife-cheater and fraud.”​

The last time Cornyn ran he won by the largest margin for a US Senator in US history in the general.

That's gonna be very hard for Paxton to overcome as most people will continue to vote for a sitting Senator they voted for before.

It's like Warner here, he has the job till he does not want it anymore.

Cornyn is a blow-dried, focus group tested plastic swamp rat

But it isnt as if he is an unreliable senator

He votes with trump 99% of the time

So he meets my 90% standard

But Ken Paxton appeals to MAGAs who want to take Washington back, whatever that means, and I think my fellow MAGAs get it wrong this time

What I want at this point is for Repubs to go to their early voting polling place and vote for Jazmine Crockett

Because she stands the least chance to flip the seat blue

Back stabbing is common in both major parties

I laugh when I see cornyn commercials because he’s always wearing a cowboy hat

Something I’m sure he would not be seen dead in except at election time

Usually it doesn't matter but this year the GOP actually has a horserace between Ken Paxon and John Cornyn.

Its probably going to go to a runoff anyway but its interesting that the GOP is shooting itself in the foot with and abandoning not only the rules but the "logic" behind them.
