The start of emission free flying

The replacement of ICE highway vehicles by EV's is well underway. This may be the start of replacement of much of our air fleet with EV;s

News flash for ya: You'll never live to see a Boeing 787 emission free airplane.

There are no emission free vehicles. They may not spew out emissions driving or flying, they've merely reallocated the emissions all to during the manufacturing, repairing and servicing.

As long as there are no problems that would require that the planes stay in the air longer.

A small plane has lots of alternative that a large plane does not. As a taxi service between cities 200 miles or less apart, the plane would work well.

And there are no emissions when you are doing all those things to the standard airliner? Then you have the massive emissions from burning all that fuel. Kind of stupid move to try to make a point like that.

I never said a word about a standard airliner, only that there would never be an emission free true jumbo jet in your life.

Or dump truck.

Or construction vehicle.

Kind of a stupid move on your part to try to make a claim like that.

Useless luxury ... whether by road or by air ... traveling 200 miles is a waste of resources ... for what? ... vacation? ...

This illustrates the the basic hypocrisy of the Alarmist movement ... they want the energy, but don't want to pay the pollution price ... passenger cars and passenger airplanes have to go or the atmosphere will be cooked by year 2100 ...

No specifics ... sounds like a 2 ton weight limit ... 250 mile range is only about 1-1/2 hours flight time maximum, subtract 20% for a safety margin ... then another 1-1/2 hours on the ground recharging ... compared to 3-1/3 hours driving and another 1/6 hour refueling, but just a half ton weight limit (typical) ... or 1.322 milliseconds by Skype ...

Take a look at holiday traffic on your local freeway ... you want to move that to the air? ... think of the massive carbon footprint for all the extra airports needed ... the cost of all that extra air traffic control ... the accidents ...

19 people in San Francisco who want to fly to Modesto? ... not without court orders ... just saying ...
