I admire your optimism: 1000 years. For all intents and purposes, the Republic ended decades ago. It's only a matter of time before the country goes completely bankrupt.

As for the country going bankrupt - that might still happen - will be interesting to see. I believe the greed of capitalism will be found responsible if that does occur....(BTW, that doesn't mean socialism is the answer - a mixture of both is, IMO)

I wouldn't say all politicians are corrupt. We certainly need term limits to mitigate this. And I wouldn't say the 'greed of capitalism' is the problem as long as laws are followed. Unfortunately, they are not and Crony Capitalism is the order of the day in America.

He said what that was inaccurate? Please. Slander implies an untruth. You just think its hell. The worst thing that anyone can do, once they've used the ladder to reach where they want their station in life to be, is to pull that ladder up behind them. Gates was on the way to the kitchen to fetch his wallet. Was it when the officer entered the home uninvited and followed him to the kitchen that he asked two more times? Meanwhile, Gates asked the officer several times for ID, AFTER he provided his own, and never got so much as a response. Are you really trying to say that an officer, responding to a maybe break in (the 911 call has been released) would not have arrested a possible intruder at the first refusal to provide proof of who he was? Or to enter the house without backup if he thought there were two men in the home, one out of sight? Really? Does that even make sense to you?

It says in the police report that Crowley wrote himself....he asked mr gates for his identification, and mr gates replied back that he needed to see the Cop's identification and then Mr Gates handed him his university ID.

Where in the HELL, which is the home of deceivers, did you get that Crowley asked Gates 3 times for his id and he refused? SHEESH....

While I was lead to believe that Gates was lawfully in this residence, I was quite surprise and confused with the behavior he exhibited toward me. I asked Gates to provide me with identification so i could verify he lived at Ware Street and so that I could radio my findings in to ECC.

Gates initially refused, demanding that I show him identification, BUT THEN DID SUPPLY ME with a Harvard University identification card.

WHY DO CONSERVATIVES like you, HAVE TO LIE ABOUT THIS INCIDENT? Why can't you just debate it and discuss it with the facts that have been presented, instead of having to lie? I just don't understand you RGS..... (shakes head)

Maybe it is LAZINESS and refusing to read the police report that I POSTED FOR YOU EARLIER...maybe it is your PRECONCEIVED ideas on those involved in this case which blinds you from being truthful....?

A professor in African studies........ why doesn't he get his colored ass to Africa? Because that is what they would call him there, his light skin would give him away as not African, but a colored guy. I have spoken to 4 different Africans that I work with, none believe his fraud ass.
