You could tell by the way that they got away with it when you know the type of operation they were operating...
I tried getting a mortgage in 2000, the Latino's were all getting loans to buy nice houses I would have liked to own, but they refused me..
They told me I had to much debt to income, blah, blah and I was self employed, blah, blah.. So I investigated the situation and found what they were doing.
Now you may think I'm loading up on the bull, but I have relatives that own their own Real Estate companies, are bankers and stockbrokers, and politics..I can access them and the info anytime and being as they are relations I don't get stonewalled or misguided intentionally..
I don't admit to anyone that I have LEO in laws...lol

we knew 95% of what they where doing, and we assume the last 5%. The last 5% for me was this. This in my opinion destroys the argument from people who hate regulation that we needed to deregulate even more because free markets and such.
