Yes. I'm retired since January 1, 2016 but my company pays for my insurance.
Making this, "I am totally in the tank for single payer insurance. I pay for my insurance and you pay for your insurance.", utter bullshit then.
Figures. No one with insurance is on their own.
You make the choice as to whom you choose to be employed. Fringe benefits are sometimes as or more important than the salary or hourly wage one receives. We all make choices in life. Some make better choices than others do.
Yes not everyone wants to work in a factory or behind a desk.
It's their choice to make. Why should someone else pay for the stupid choices others make?
Well I don't know , where have you worked. Some people are fine staying at the same company for 50 years, others are not.
I started out working in a large sawmill's power plant. I then was drafted into the US Army. When I got out, I went to work for an electrical company and learned electrical estimating. I went to VPI and got a degree in electrical engineering and then I started my own electrical design and construction company. I ran my company for thirty-five years and turned it over to my three kids to run on January 1, 2016.
So your children pay for your insurance. Not you.
No. My company pays for my insurance. It is still my company since I am the majority stockholder.
So you do not have Medicare?
