I don't like that an adjective is forced on true liberalism just to satisfy the shortcomings in the modern American political lexicon as well as the shortcomings of its purveyors in popularizing the misuse of the concept.

Ann's a nationist. She's not a moron by any means, but she's a rather mainstream nationalist, so that's the perspective from which she writes and speaks. I get it. It's not helpful to conservatism, however, to ignore the real religion which is statism in favor of popularizing the misuse and ignorance of what liberalism is. In the end, it doesn't really speak well for the conservative viewpoint because it just demonstrates their own shortcomings in understanding of conservatism. Which, to be clear, is liberalism.

Anyway. That's my thought on it. I cringe every time I read or hear someone say the term liberal these days. As I said, it's one of the most misused terms in the American political lexicon. Hands down.
