The Reality of Trump's Election

How many years ago was that you fucking moron??!!! Why don't you also invoke the meme about how democrats founded the KKK. That was then and this is now bitch!!!

General trend?
Needs more explanation of what that means.

That there is a general trend among people over time to go from progressive to more conservative, as their life experience expands, their responsibilities increase, and what they have to lose increases.

It isn't a hard rule, but a general trend.

In my life experience I have seen the opposite.
The majority of our young are raised conservative , then they change to become progressive in college.

Actually, in my later years-I'm 69- I went from being a Marxist to a Democratic Socialist ala Bernie. However, on social issues I am further out there to the left than ever before.

OId fading hippies do buck the trend.
I'm not hardly fading big guy. I'm better than ever . That's my real picture sparky. You however...

Yes, because everyone believes everything people type on teh internests.

There are few things sadder than aging hipsters, at least if they're no rock stars.
There are few things sadder than a meathead who apparently has nothing relevant or intelligent to contribute to a serious topic.
Relevance, by definition, is relative. Intelligence, on the other hand, is not. When I see the rantings of what even you admit are those of an aging hipster, I can only question it;s vapidness. Idealism and that degree of self-righteousness in youth is understandable. At your age it is silly if not comical.

It is far too late to suggest you grow up. That bird has flown.
Spare me the blathering bovine excrement and pathetic attempt to hide behind a moronic ad hominem .That just demonstrates the fact that you can't defend Trump and don't know shit.

There are few things sadder than a green faced meathead that is unlikely to have anything useful to say about this either:

Trump Issues Tepid Response to Chilling Nazi Salutes In His Honor | The Huffington Post
President-elect Donald Trump on Monday issued a vague denunciation of a white nationalist conference that celebrated his victory with Nazi propaganda, responding in a short statement from his transition team.

“President-elect Trump has continued to denounce racism of any kind, and he was elected because he will be a leader for every American,” the statement reads. “To think otherwise is a complete misrepresentation of the movement that united Americans from all backgrounds.”

To little To Late!

Over the weekend, a conference of white nationalists met in Washington, D.C., to laud Trump’s victory. The celebration included racist rhetoric and Nazi chants, and attendees gave Nazi salutes.

He says that these people are being misrepresented ??? Really ???!!!

Boo Hoo.....

Please link addictinginfo, or whatever that dingbat site is, to back up your intellect. It would only be fitting.

As I said, few things are sadder than aging hipsters.

Is there something that I posted that you can refute, that you can comment on? Did the reporter get something wrong or fabricate the story? Attacking the source is just another one of your pathetic logical fallacies which, of course is all that you have.

The Genetic Fallacy occurs when you attack the source of the argument, instead of the actual argument being made. For example, if Rush Limbaugh (a reincarnation of P.T. Barnum) said oil doesn't mix with water, most people would be less inclined to believe him because he is a professional charlatan. But regardless of who Rush Limbaugh is, he would still be right if he made that claim about oil and water. In the above quote, the user also does not quote a source when he attempts to refute the original claim that oil is scarce. In the second quote, he does nothing more than attack the source.

You're making a damned fool of yourself. I suggest that you shut the fuck up for your own good.

You think the statute of limitations has run out on slavery, oppression, terrorism, and throwing Innocent Americans into concentration camps? Perhaps biologically for those personally involved, but not morally for the vile democrat party that still operates under the same basic premise.

'

So you want to prosecute the Democratic party for what was done way back then by what was a different party altogether, with different people? Get over it Bubba. This meme is just a smokescreen for the fact that the bigots and stupid people fled the Democratic party when it embraced civil rights and became Republicans.

Mea culpa, this was left off of the post:
This Is How The Electoral Map Would Have Looked If Only Voters Ages 18-25 Counted

And what do you suppose it proves, other than that those just barely emerging into nominal adulthood, with very little real-world experience, tend to be much more idealistic, and much less pragmatic, than those who have been around long enough to know how the world works? I'm reminded of a quote, popularly but probably incorrectly attributed to Winston Churchill, about how a man who is not a liberal when he is young has no heart, but a man who is not a conservative when he is old has no brain. When I was in the 18-24 age group, I was a conservative, even then, but many of my peers were LIbErals, who have since grown up into conservatism; just as most of the current 18-25 age group will surely do by the time they reach my age. It is the difference between people who have not yet known any life other than being fed, housed, and otherwise supported by their parents; and those who have gone out into the world, and experienced the reality of having to earn their own living.

Unless you are planning on seeking to establish a maximum voting age, of about 25 or so, the prediction that you think your map is making, it is not.

Gerrymandering won Trump the election. North Carolina, WI (going to Supreme Court) and Mi.

That's your opinion. I draw a different inference and my experience does not mirror yours. I'm 69 and at about 13 learned about segregation and was appalled. A friend of mine visited his sister in the south, and when he came back he told a story of white only water fountains, white only seats at the bus station and white only restrooms.

From that day forward I have held to the belief so well immortalized by Jefferson that all of us our created equal and by law have the same rights and opportunities. I judge people by who they are, not what they look like which is why I reject the alt-right, KKK and former southern Democrats, who left the party to join the Republican Party's small tent.
