Nobody has the guts to bring original designs or bring back designs of the past.

It's super expensive to retool the lines every year....Although it leads to the rather homogeneous designs of the 5-year model lines, I'll take the money put into mechanical innovation over cosmetics.

Saw a BMW SUV today, it looked just like every other SUV. The nameplate gave it away though.

I remember one car that was way above the rest back in the 1980s. You knew what it was because it was unique.

Almost all cars 30’s-60’s had cool looks. Then the decline started. 80’s were the last.

That was right about the time that the auto manufacturers started running the same body styles for more than a couple years at a time...Like I said, retooling everything every year is seriously costly.
