That's my point. "Lawmakers" have failed to make such laws although they have been proposed. When a person identifies themselves as a career criminal there must be laws to address that.

Why do we have to wait until a repeat drunk driver kills someone to deny them driving rights? If a person has multiple DUI's they shouldn't be allowed to own a motor vehicle larger than a moped.
