The US Constitution begins with the words, "We the people...". The EU constitution, the one the Irish were forced under after voting against it starts off with the words, "His Majesty the King of the Belgians...".

The same who also caused the downgrade of his country's credit? Yeah, I can see his admiration for Obama.

Ireland has a parliamentary system, President is a symbolic figure -- he has no influence on economic policies. And even if he was responsible for Irish economy, it does not make him wrong on tea party.

In fact, he is absolutely right on how tea party leaders operate: discover what people fear most and use it to manipulate them.
