Sometimes people believe they are helping people when they are actually doing just the opposite. Telling the U.S. not to give support to Ukraine would have lead to way more people dying. Or, not to support Israel would have lead to millions of Jews dying. He turned out not to be a very smart man. But, that would be speaking ill of the dead which is the same that you are doing. Only Jesus can judge. I can discern, however, that many of the doctrines taught and practiced by Francis and the Catholic Church did not emanate from Jesus. Only Jesus knows what is in Francis's heart and only Jesus can judge him.
