No matter how you feel about the viewpoint of speech, you have to allow even the most despicable. Even the NeoNazi’s and KKK and other groups. If you don’t, you risk losing it for yourself because some day some government might decide they don’t like YOUR views and arrest you or disappear you into some ICE detention facility where no one knows where you are.

Trump supporter here. No "peaceful protesters" should be shot and under this administration never will. However, I do believe that lethal force should be used on the following: Actual violent protesters, arsonists and looters. As long as you stand off to one side waving your signs and yelling into megaphones or not, you should be protected by law enforcement.
Disobedient protesters should be rounded up, held in jail until bailed out, then made to appear in court on the charge of obstruction and any other charges that may apply. For the disobedient ones, tear gas and water cannons are acceptable.
The Constitution is the supreme law of this nation and it only gives permission for the "peaceful assembly" of people and each state has and does execute the right to determine where protests can be held and restrict protests in certain areas.
