Reading through the headlines these past few weeks, the one overall theme that strikes me is the campaign by the MSM to portray Trump's popular and logical initiatives as things to be opposed, scorned, and challenged. Consider for example this article from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette...

Bottom line, Trump's decision to take our existing immigration laws seriously is a bad thing. Seriously? What percentage of the population would agree with this bullshit? If Trump's "mandate" was anything at all, it was to enforce the ******* immigration laws, as Biden refused to do.
Trump uncovers and exposes the grotesque waste of American tax dollars through give-away programs implemented by USAID. They have briefly "paused" all the give-aways pending a review of whether they promote legitimate U.S. interests abroad - WHAT A CONCEPT! - and will reduce the staff to a reasonable level, making the agency so small that it doesn't really deserve to be separately operated, and will operate as an office of the State Department. And the MSM is trying to convince its readers and viewers that this is a bad thing. Are they kidding? The vast majority of Americans are cheering this house-cleaning, knowing that it will save the taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars every year.
No country or prominent individual worldwide has even suggested a path forward for Gaza when the current conflagration ends. What the Gazans want, and what will NEVER happen, is that the international community (mainly the US) give Hamas tens of billions of dollars to rebuild their corrupt terrorist enclave. Where do you go from there? Trump suggests a possible solution - private development of that seaside area, basically turning it into a tourist haven like Monte Carlo, while relocating its wretched former inhabitants to nearby Muslim shit-hole countries. The MSM has lost its ******* mind over this Trump trial balloon, which though shocking, is the only suggestion that is on the table, as far as I can see.
Trump and DOGE offer Federal employees a generous golden parachute if they voluntarily resign by a fixed date. It is an OPTION, to be considered by every affected individual and accepted if they think it works for them. Most of the tens of thousands who have thus far accepted it are within 18 months or less of their planned retirement anyway, and NOBODY thinks that those departures will significantly impact operations. The MSM is screeching that giving people this option is somehow taking away their employee rights. The government employee unions are having collective apoplexy over the initiative. Seriously? No rational person could take issue with this initiative. Does any taxpayer NOT think that the Federal government is bloated and over-staffed?
Again, my point is that these major Trump initiatives - like annexing Greenland, taking back the Panama Canal, and forcing Canada to take a bigger role in defending itself - are being portrayed by the MSM has outrageous or harmful to the citizenry when the opposite is true.
Are "we" stupid enough to buy it?
Steven Hill: Undocumented workers are good for the economy
In his first days in office, President Donald Trump announced a crackdown on immigration. What will happen to the economy if many of the immigrant workers...
