All this commotion in Washington about the origins of the Covid 19 pandemic should make people wonder if when people go to Washington does an integral part of their brain die is there something in the Washington DC water supply that impairs people thinking that use that water! Washington politicians are yelping for an answer, President Biden is charging American's intelligence services to investigate and render an opinion on what were the circumstances behind the origin and the spread of this coronavirus in China. The stupidity here is like a thick, inundating fog; first off if there is any witnesses in China that could offer valuable information on this subject and they have the character to inform the world public on the truth such people are sitting in urns in a nice Chinese families' homes. We're talking China here, a ruthless totalitarian government that has a track record of putting human rights subordinate to the interests of the state; people are living in a fantasy world if they believe they are going to find evidence establishing the truth, the Chinese government would never allow it. But this isn't the worst aspect of this big exercise American politicians are taking the country on with this pursuit.
Washington politicians are missing the key, what should be shaking everyone to their core, issue on this whole pandemic. Relatively, It is really not important whether the safety protocols at the Virus research lab in Wuhan were so lax that staff members were playing catch with vials of coronavirus and one vial dropped and started the pandemic or if owners in the Wuhan wet market were going to nearby bat caves collecting bats highly infected with coronaviruses and feeding the bats to animals on sale in the market and the animals developed a strain of a coronavirus that was fatal to humans. Relatively this is all irrelevant! What is critically relevant and should be alarming to everyone is that Chinese authorities knew that an epidemic was unfolding in their country that could become a deadly pandemic and did not do their duty to the world and warn it in a timely manner. Competent analysts believe that Chinese authorities had reason to believe as early as November of 2019 that a serious epidemic was being unleashed in their country. Their reasoning is that the spread of this coronavirus came to the United States through Europe which explains why New York City was an early epicenter of thePandemic in the United and in order for it to have traveled from China to Europe and created a significant spread in the United States in February meant that there was significant spread in China probably in November of 2019.
Just imagine if the Chinese authorities did what was right in November and alerted the World Health Organization that they think they have a serious epidemic on their hands. The WHO could have provided the resources if the Chinese government did not have them available to conduct surveys of those infected and it could have been readily determined that there was human to human transfer of this virus through respiratory particles, the scientist could have confirmed that there is a significant death rate for the virus in older people and people with serious health problems, scientist throughout the world could have documented the genetic code of the virus much more quickly and test kits could have been made readily available to determine if a person had the disease. If the Chinese government responded responsibly here hot spots for the virus could have been quarantined and the spread of the disease managed so that it would not devastate the world like it did. Just in America, the U.S. government has spent at least $ 5 trillion dollars in pandemic relief bills, tens of thousands of America's businesses have been permanently shuttered, hundreds of thousands of Americans have permanently lost jobs where they will not be able to get income equivalent replacements all these things caused by this pandemic.
There should be serious consequences on a government that fails to do its civic duty to the world in failing to warn them that a serious epidemic is originating in their country. Washington politicians should be working on codifying this into an international treaty; a good deterring penalty would be that a culpable country here has their trade reduced by thirty percent for ten years. Washington politicians should be putting together legislation that deters the Chinese government from doing anything like this ever again. What is this the second coronavirus pandemic coming out of China in the last twenty-five years; hey members of Congress the world doesn't need to see a hat trick on coronavirus creation from China, especially one where China allows countries throughout the world to be caught unprepared to protect their people, economy and their nation; we need you to get on the job here!
