1. Determine that these pythons, that slowly break every bone in their victim's body while choking the life out of them, are not deserving of "humane kill". If this is not done all efforts at eradication will fail.
2. Implant or attach to their prey species, notably rats and rabbit's native to the region, small explosive devices programmed to detonate if motion is not detected for a period of time, or specific poisons that will kill the snakes.
These booby-trapped prey animals can be released in areas where hunting them is impossible or impractical.
