Not that it even matters, all of NATO has had this capability for decades now.

And I mean that literally, this capability has existed since the 1970s. Just because we are finally coordinating our laser designators for the first time with other nations does not mean we have not had this capability for 50 years. And if the Cold War with the Warsaw Pact had ever gone hot, you better believe we would have been doing that with West Germany and other NATO allies from the start.
