Everyone running to red lobster to get this over priced seafood boil for $50 and u get a little bit of food. I am not paying 50 dollars.........sorry

The best part of a low country boil is preparing it... and I bet their seafood is frozen not fresh....

Looks pretty good to me. You can see the lobsters in the tank as you enter R.L. If I lived on the coast I'd be tempted to buy one just to release it. The price seems high but you can easily spend $50 on lunch in big cities if you add a couple of Jack Daniels.

No, the best part of a low country boil is watching good friends and family interact with one another while enjoying a good meal...

That all goes into the preparing and cooking outdoors...

Probably comes pre-bagged and frozen from SYSCO via Fishex.

the only thing I dont like in seafood boils is CORN and CRAB LEGS

All I can think of, is how much plastic are you eating?

The good thing is that it will keep the current demographic that frequents RL occupied....Just keep them supplied with Chedder Bay biscuits. :laughing0301:

You can buy the biscuits frozen at the grocery store now, as well as the box mix.

They closed down most of the RL in my area late last year, the food was just too expensive versus the portion sizes, I think that is why they closed down so many RL restaurants in Illinois. I think the chain is not doing very well.

They expect you to get full from the biscuits I guess.

I never thought that much of them anyway.

Now the yeast rolls at Texas Roadhouse are to die for. I go by there and buy a few dozen, let them get to room temp and then freeze them....They hold up around three months in the freezer but seldom last that long. ;)

They are not on the level of RL biscuts
