The solution; Indroduce a visa work program for approved 'migrants'.
Come in, seasonal or not...work, then exit, and reapply for another visa to return.

Introduce laws that require employers to obtain from employees proof or their right to work in America.
Prosecute any employers hiring illegal immigrants/visa over-stayers etc who can't prove they have the right to work in America.

I think internally for Americans the Golden Days are somewhat sparser. Many Americans collecting checks and benefits. The first two years of Joe's administration was an eye opener as our currency is somewhat less resilient than the golden days. The Inflation hurt a lot of people, and the southern border was wide open. We also receive a lot of food, fruits and vegetables from overseas. Most seem to not be seasonal anymore. However, there are the oldest people who say fruits and vegetables are not as tasty as they used to be also.

Maybe this is why life where I live, in a tiny rural farming town, is so much more peaceful. People here, farmers, are accustomed to building everything they have and not depending on the government.

I'll have to talk to a couple of farmers I know, who have possibly accepted subsidy for growing crap crops like field corn and soybeans.

But most of my farming friends raised sheep, beef and dairy cattle, goats, and hobby farm market crops.

But for the most part, they are all self-sustaining people.
