I am trying to be kind since you have checked and somehow got the idea it was not a fuel tank. What you now speak of also was fully investigated and to answer your question, investigators said when it blew up, the nose was blown off, causing the tail to drop, and the plane in its final moments was headed up. Since it was on fire, some thought they saw a missile, but it was the airplane in fact.
I have a hunch you won't believe them so perhaps the friendly thing to do is just stop talking about it since you have the theory the Feds did it and are dedicated to that concept.

Cause of crash and conspiracy theories​

The National Transportation Safety Board inquiry determined that the cause of the crash was an explosion of a combustible mixture of fuel and air in the center wing fuel tank. The investigators believed that the explosion was caused by an electrical short circuit that affected fuel gauge wiring within the tank. Traces of explosives were found in the cabin, but it was suggested that they were residue from an explosive detection training exercise that had recently been staged on the airplane. Among the FBI’s witnesses were 258 people who claimed to have seen a streak of light approaching the airplane just before the crash. According to investigators, these witnesses actually saw a stream of burning fuel leaking from the crippled craft.


Nevertheless, some people continued to believe that flight 800 had been shot down, either by terrorists or by the U.S. military in a disastrous mistake. Skeptics stated their cases in the documentary feature film TWA Flight 800 (2013). Other claims included a bomb on the plane and a meteorite strike. These alternate theories proved popular online, leading some to consider the crash the first major conspiracy on the Internet.

Consider this. We have "witnesses" on land, 8 miles distant, from an airplane almost 15,000 feet (almost 3 miles up) saying they identified a missile, and not because they saw one, but they claim they saw a flame going up. I ask all, how can non experts, seeing light go up (assume they told the truth) and rule out the center tank exploded? All navy ships with missiles were inventoried for this and all missiles were still on the ships.
It was dark and where were the missiles given the navy officers accounted for their missiles?

The huge fireball is typical of an airliner, full of fuel, burning on impact. A missile does not produce such a massive fire, rather it produces a huge explosion. The massive fire is your tip to what hit the pentagon.

We are together on this. He told me he was a test pilot. Test pilots pick up all kinds of wild tales and most know those tales are fiction. Sort of like men from space located at Roswell NM. I am a pilot and read accounts from a pilot who flew at DC the time flight 77 crashed and he reported it to ATC. He alerted them when the plane was still in the air. I am a pilot and things like crashes are easy to spot when flying in the same area. As far as TWA800, what makes sense was reported by experts. A spark from a higher voltage wire outside the center tank caused a current to flash into the inside of the fuel tank causing the explosion. A very unlucky break and the event was completely investigated for bombs too. TWA 800 only fired 3 engines until it was ready to fly then engine 3 was started. This flight was very strange.

I have supplied evidence a pilot was a witness to the crash. There were other witnesses.
