actually, yes, we do. unemployment compensation simply for being unemployed, solves simple poverty. it has to do with capitalism and ensuring capital circulates, not a work ethic.equal protection of the law is an entitlement. why not solve simple poverty on an at-will basis in our at-will employment States?
I have a solution to poverty. Garner some skills worth a better financial gain.
You don't solve poverty by giving people something in an amount more than they can earn. They have no incentive to work if you give them more than they could ever make working.
No it doesn't it fosters dependence and no one wants to hire anyone with long term unemployment issues.
