So, while part of me would understand it if Trump wished to “do back” to the miscreants what they have relentlessly done to him (ie, let them learn from actual experience that what they’ve been doing is dead wrong and very harmful) — I also doubt it would be efferctive.

Perhaps the best course is to beat them at their cheating efforts, now and then install safeguards to prevent them from doing all of this again down the road to some other political opponent.

They will not ever be tried or convicted or sent to Gitmo. And they won’t ever see anything like a military tribunal.

Our nation is already pretty sharply divided. That doesn’t mean we necessarily must face a Civil War. The risks are clearly present though.

Our current Administration has proved that it is quite lawless. If the Dims don’t change their ways, it could come to blows.
