Should law enforcers go in where known illegals are staying and arrest and deport them.

depends on how much you want to spend on that type of enforcement. and also depends on how much of the feds work a local municipality wants to do.

most don't like having to do that type of work.

So your saying they're breaking their oath to uphold the law.

The Law is the Law.

I think it should be a case by case matter. If someone's illegal, and they're hardworking and contributes to their society, then let'em stay and give them amnesty, if they're a negative influence, then deport'em.

Illegal means they have broken our law. So if a thief has a job and is hard working we should forget he is a thief?

whether or not local law enforcement act on behalf of the feds is, i believe, up to local law enforcement.

they have no oath to act as immigration officers.

and, again, the municipality has to make up its mind as to what it wants to spend doing that type of work.

How is someone who's working, paying taxes they can't get a refund on, stealing ?

Wasting time sending people back who're constructive members of society takes the resources away from shipping back the ones who need to be shipped back first.

Also many municipalities can't afford to police illegal immigration.

Do you have any Idea how many of those illegals are here because they are running from the law in their own countries?

No one else does either, because we don't know who they are or where they are. That day laborer could be a serial rapist, or worse.

We need to seal the border and start shipping.

Actually, they're sending themselves back now. But regardless, someone living here for years and do nothing but work and support their family, aren't a problem. You have plenty of American citizens who're naturalized citizens and they destroy our communities and are nothing but parasites upon the nation.

Yes.

Is anything else needed to be said? If you're not willing to enforce the laws, you should not be allowed to work in law enforcement.

But in the case of most police departments, there's not enough money to do that. Who would you rather have off the streets ? Jorge the illegal or Joe the burglar ? If they're rounding up illegals then they can't round up dangerous people. Some illegal who's a family man and works two jobs and doesn't cause trouble shouldn't be arrested when the resources can be used to arrest someone who's actually a danger to my community rather than a productive member of it.

May be?

So you want them gone because you think they might be criminals yet have no evidence to back that up

Hey that guy over there may be an arsonist. I have no proof that he is but nobody knows anything about him, we better get rid of him.

I say yes even the local law enforcers should help send them back when they are discovered or known about and tell them if they want to enter into the country do so in a legal manner.

If you are not willing to abide in the law you do not belong here no matter how hard working you are. If someone is willing to disrespect the law in the first place what in the world make anyone think they would respect any of the other laws in this society.

If an employer hires one of these illegal immigrants then both the employer and the immigrant are breaking the law and taking away from honest employers and employees who abide in the law and hire legally perfected aliens or natural born citizens.

We have neighbors who work for an employer who regularly hired illegal immigrants to build pig farms. The neighbors bought houses and rented to the company for these illegal immigrant work crews when they come in. The wife works and the husband draws disability. He works but is paid through her company to her paychecks, plus he keeps the rentals up and they raise cattle which he tends and takes care of. Remember he is supposedly fully disabled drawing social security for his purported full disablement.

This small poverty stricken community in the Midwest deserves better. There are hundreds of people here that would love to be able to work locally. This company hires illegal immigrants instead because they can get away with it and it improves there bottom line for their stockholders. Illegal aliens steal jobs from the honest businesses, honest citizens and the honest immigrants that come here to work that take the time to get there green card.

I find it rather odd that so many people insist on spending a lot of money to try catch people for such a non-crime.

The point is that they are in our country illegally, we do not know who they are or why they left their own country. You would have to be totally crazy to believe that some percentage of them are hiding from the law in their home country. Now that could be as low as 1% or as high as 20%, We just don't know. Regardless every single one of them has broken the law in the USA. Deport them all now. And their anchor babies with them.
