No not strange, just different accent. I live in NE PA and I'm sure have that 'somewhat Philly' accent.

Aw man, my one of my friends from the military lives there and she pronounces "boy" bowah or something like that. She REALLY gets on me about my pronunciation of certain words and phrases. I remember we got into a big discussion about "calling out" of work. Down here we say "calling in."

Like to 'call out sick'? Yeah, I use 'call out' vs. 'call in'. I 'fill out' a form too. Of course, I could 'fill in' a form and accomplish the exact same thing!
