geez, i just can't stay last for very long in this thread. I'll have you know, i always have the last word.
I had this one friend, she's gone now, but she was a hairdresser and ran her own one person shop. My mother in law wanted her hair done and i was going to take her down to do it but my car broke down, so i called my friend and asked her if she could come to my house. She said instead, she'd come pick up my mother in law and bring her home. I paid her, $30 over the going rate, i said for taxi service. She said she wasn't charging me for that. We argued and she ended up taking the check, but then, by way of her mother, returning a $30 check to me. I held on to it for awhile and then her mother told me to cash it. So i cashed it, went to my friend's favorite flower shop and said i needed to send flowers to martha and that they had to cost exactly $30.00. The flower shop made up a bunch of her favorite flowers and delivered them. (they were friends of martha too, so i think they really did it up good.) martha called me to say "i always get the last word...'thank you'"
i said, "you're welcome!"
i always get the last word people, just give up now.
