One of the primary reasons that peace is so difficult in Palestine is the hate generated by the IDF....Mark my words if peace is achieved, war crimes will be adjudicated for many years...

Amnesty International accuses Israeli armed forces of possible war crimes | World news | theguardian.com

Israeli forces are using excessive, reckless violence in the occupied West Bank, killing dozens of Palestinians over the past three years in what might constitute a war crime, Amnesty International said.

In a report entitled Trigger Happy, the human rights group accused Israel of allowing its soldiers to act with virtual impunity and urged an independent review of the deaths.

The Israeli army dismissed the allegations, saying security forces had seen a "substantial increase" in Palestinian violence and Amnesty had revealed a "complete lack of understanding" about the difficulties soldiers faced.

According to UN data, 45 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank between 2011 and 2013, including six children. Amnesty said it had documented the deaths of 25 civilians during this period, all but three of whom died last year.

"The report presents a body of evidence that shows a harrowing pattern of unlawful killings and unwarranted injuries of Palestinian civilians by Israeli forces in the West Bank," said Philip Luther, the director of the Middle East and north Africa programme at Amnesty International.

Stop targeting Jews. Simple.

If its that simple, why is Amnesty not accusing Palestinians?...the answer is simple...Stop killing people who are not targeting, especially the children, not to mention peace activists from America and Europe.

Because Amnesty is biased against Israel. That is very well-known and I am surprised you didn't know that.

You are accusing me of not knowing about the political situation there? Ah, you are new to this forum. That figures.

All anybody needs to see is right here in this thread.

I still stand by my statement. If the PA stop the daily killings and attempted killings then peace is more likely. Unfortunately they don't accept the definition of insanity.

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." - Albert Einstein

Indeed, you have to kill people to keep stolen land.

Tough job.

And The Daily Show still hasn't come knocking? :cuckoo:

Governments who have criticised AI include those of Israel,[2][3] the Democratic Republic of the Congo,[4] China,[5] Vietnam,[6] Russia[7] and the United States,

Well that's me convinced.

for what they assert is one-sided reporting

Do they not realise that Amnesty are a human rights pressure group and "mitigating factors" for human rights abuses don't wash with them just as they shouldn't with any right thinking human being?

There is NOTHING in that artical that in ANY way excuses Israel's human rights abuses and so the ONLY thing that you can do after reading what Israel has been doing and wilfully maintain support for that nation is conciously decide you don't WANT to believe them and so attack the source.

I've read Amnesty reports criticizing human-rights abuses in China and Muslim nations too, so I think they're pretty fair.

BBC NEWS | Middle East | Amnesty details Gaza 'war crimes'

Its report also calls rocket attacks by Palestinian militants war crimes and accuses Hamas of endangering civilians.

It takes a lot of sand to buy your head in if you want to write off the worlds biggest human rights group as just a mouthpiece for anti-semitism.
