She shouldn't be using her first public remarks to be launching political attacks against people without evidence.

I suppose. But "shoulds" bend a little around a grieving widow. Especially for a partisan who will instinctively think of this as "the left" murdering her husband. And not entirely without cause.

Whoever let her do this or thought it was a good idea should be fired.

Yeah. It would have been awesome if she'd taken the high road, appealed to unity rather than making threats. But people in politics don't really do that these days. And, under the circumstances, I'm not going to condemn her for it.

In any case, it won't be her words provoking the coming firestorm. Though she's right. It's going to get ugly.
