The tiny Delta Smelt fish have not been seen in the wild in California in over a decade.

And yet, California Democrats flushed annual water flow into the ocean to save this little fish that they can’t even find in its natural habitat.
Now several cities are burnt to the ground.

They sacrificed entire communities for a fish that doesn’t exist.

Fairly certain, like in Lahaina, Chicago, democrat governor North Carolina, all on purpose. Or perhaps they are all giant coincidences. Didnt something happen in New Orleans too?

There is no such document as the water restoration declaration – that is pure fiction,” Newsom communications director Izzy Gardon said in a written statement. “The Governor is focused on protecting people, not playing politics, and making sure firefighters have all the resources they need.”

“I invite you to come to California again — to meet with the Americans affected by these fires, see the devastation firsthand, and join me and others in thanking the heroic firefighters and first responders who are putting their lives on the line,” the governor wrote.
...
In that post, Trump added that Newsom “wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt, by giving it less water (it didn’t work!)” and “he is the blame for this.”
“Responding to Donald Trump’s insults, we would spend another month,” Newsom told NBC News’ Jacob Soboroff. “I’m very familiar with them. Every elected official that he disagrees with is very familiar with them.”
He added that Trump was “somehow connecting the delta smelt to this fire, which is inexcusable because it’s inaccurate. Also, incomprehensible to anyone that understands water policy in the state.”

“Tying Bay-Delta management into devastating wildfires that have cost people’s lives and homes is nothing short of irresponsible, and it’s happening at a time when the Metropolitan Water District has the most water stored in its system in the history of the agency,” he said. “It’s not a matter of having enough water coming from Northern California to put out a fire. It’s about the continued devastating impacts of a changing climate.”

You have to be a complete idiot to credit anything in the Gateway PUNDIT.

All it has ever done is lie and push right wing tropes. It has an audience of imbiciles.

Negative....All you have to do is look at the Wiki I posted to find out how crazy the waste of resources is on no more than a bait-fish.

Given that game fish feed on them and there is no corresponding decline in the game fish, the smelt must necessarily be of little consequence and their worth all out kilter to what is sacrificed for them.

In other words just another example of the lack of common sense on full display by the leftists.

Slightly different topic, but according to some people who have researched this, there have been lots of other fires that aren't as well-known, that later turned out to be land grabs for precious resources, like lithium. If I'm not mistaken, one of them was an Indian reservation.

I haven't fully gone down that rabbit hole yet, but it's very interesting.

What kind of moron believes anything GatewayPundit or The Convicted Felon Trump says?
People actually know the facts of the situation in California that will leave you out moron
