The basic tenets of leftism is to go through life an outcast and misfit driven by eternal hate against those who do not accept you for your weirdness as a means of ego survival by redirecting your hate for yourself outward against others instead.

It's difficult to imagine that any honest person wouldn't clearly see plenty of hatred coming from both ends of the spectrum.

The President of the United States has just said he hates his opposition. He has specifically told the military to prepare for "the enemy within". It can't possibly be any more clear than that.

This isn't Left vs. Right. This is ideological fundamentalism from both ends, versus the rest of the country. Hate is winning.
