With the coming of AI, Elon Musk has predicted that nobody will have jobs but along with that there will be a universal high income. While I see that as massive exaggeration, the loss of jobs I can imagine. It's the second half of his prediction that I see as a pipe dream.

I’m sorry, but I disagree. I walk into the houses of these folks getting social assistance programs and I see iPhones, 2 - 72” plasmas televisions, DoorDash orders and $40K cars in the driveway.
