Welcome, welcome to another year at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Or at least the The Great Hall.


Now that it's October 1st, it's time to start mixing recipes into our cauldron for the scariest month of the year. Double, double, toil and trouble. Fire burn and cauldron bubble. Let's start off with a couple of recipes that I'm going to be making this Halloween.

One tin bucket
Lots of water

Puts lots of water in ice cube trays. Wait until they are frozen. Put ice cubes in tin bucket on top of bottles of beer. Oops, I forgot to list that as an ingredient. That's what happens when you write the recipe well after you've started to enjoy it.

If you have kids and like meatloaf........make feetloaf instead.

Just make your meatloaf according to your favorite recipe and shape it like a severed foot and carve out the toes. Use big pieces of onion for the toenails and lots of ketchup or tomato sauce over the 'ankle'. You can also wrap it with bacon to look like a mummy foot.

Unless of course you were only looking for desserts.......there's always Dirt cups with chocolate pudding, crushed Oreos and gummy worms. And if it has to have pumpkin.......then make the pumpkin pie filling & top with crushed Oreos and worms or do they have pumpkin pudding to use instead??

It's the character hellraiser. My ex husband used to watch those all the time. LOL
