Watched it the other night and it kept me interested . It was a unique blend of Sci Fi , Adventure , Horror and Romance . And the Post WW2 / Cold War backstory was a nice touch . I might watch it again to catch more details .

We watched it last night.
It is a good movie, better than I expected. Like you, I did not lose interest, there were no stupid moments or woke shit thrown in for good measure. It was just a good movie.
The creatures were imaginative and well done, the story line is a bit out there but it was done in a way that a person can properly suspend reality and get away with it.
I recommend this movie to anyone who likes horror and suspense.

And as a side note.... I would like one hour with Anya Taylor Joy. What a beautiful creature! She has allowed herself to get too thin, like many hollywood gals right now - they get to addicted to the gym and weight loss. Her body prior to this was soft and feminine with lovely curves. Now it is too thin, angular and harsh. But still - God she is hot.

Meh. I found The Gorge boring, and quite stupid in some places.

I'm a fan of Anya Taylor-Joy. She's a real beauty, but the black hair doesn't really work on her, and her Lithuanian accent was laughable.

I was glad to see Hanoi Jane get blown up.

I approached the movie with curbed expectations, half expecting dumb.
But I was entertained. Like I said, there are moments that are a bit out there, but overall it was good.
Anya looked awesome as a red head in Queens Gambit, obviously the later episodes when they didn't have her fixed up like a child.
