I decided to make this topic for us to reminisce on our pasts and childhood. When I recently found this YouTube video of a VHS tape that I used to have when I was a little kid it made me think about it.

I was somewhere between four and seven years old when I got this tape and it watched it every birthday of mine until I was in middle school or high school and then I didn't have a VHS player anymore. I finally get to watch it again for my 35th birthday in a couple of weeks with my man. 😁

PS. I love Waldo. 🤣

This takes me back to my youth...

My parents bought me a magic trick set when I was a kid, it had some pretty good tricks.
Later as a teen, I started buying tricks off Douglas Magicland in Texas. They are no longer in business but they sold most of those tricks and I know how most of them work, I even still have a few.
I always found close up magic the most interesting.

My son was a magician as a teen. He worked at Disneyland as a street. Magician.

The good old days only seem good because that’s when we were young

Today will be a lot of people’s “good old days” in 30-40 years

Really? You think being locked out of school, forced to wear masks and stand 6 feet apart, denied your prom, visitation, dating, seeing your grandmother before she is gone, lied to by your government, 80,000 a year dying of chinese drugs, having your country invaded by tens of millions of illegals, your country giving your job away to foreigners, seeing a president asleep at the job, his criminal son losing a bag of coke at the WH, his crime family needing to pardon itself of unspecified crimes, a stolen election and a deep state trying to destroy its political opponents to maintain its corrupt power will be someone's "good ol' days in 30-40 years?

Gee, I'm sure glad I won't be that sorry son of a bitch!

Whew.

The day my parents told me that everyone has to die some day was not a "Good Old Day.

Yeah but I believe in Jesus and Heaven.

Thats just because you were ugly and didn't bathe. :auiqs.jpg:

I remember some good times. I also remember the first time my Dad was laid off and we had to move. I didn't really have "good old days."

Congrats on saving birthday tapes. We didn't have that technology when I was a kid.

Don’t be so dramatic. You could make a list like that about when you were young. Kids today don’t have things so bad.
