The government shutdown accomplishes three great objectives of Trump and his cult.

One, It cleans a lot of Democrats out of the government, as Trump can and will fire them by the bunches.

Second, with the massive increase in premiums at the end of the year for Obamacare, Democrat users will be especially hard hit, perhaps even accomplish Trump's long term goal of killing the program altogether. It was a President Obama achievement, so Trump is completely justified in seeking its destruction for all time. It matters not that more red states subscribe to Obamacare than do blue states. But the Republican citizens of those red states, by and large, are wealthier than blue state Democrats and can easily afford the increased costs of Obamacare premiums. RINOs, such as Margie Taylor Green should back off and embrace the new Obamacare reality. Steve is working hard on a replacement that makes sense; it should be ready shortly.

Third, with the beautiful shutdown, Mike does not have to swear-in new Arizona Democratic rep. Adelita Grijalva, whose affirmative vote could cause release of the heinous Epstein files exposing Trump to serious accusations of impropriety. It could be the nail in his coffin.

So, as Trump likes to say, "we'll see what happens,"

Open enrollment in the ACA, as well as Medicare starts on Oct 15.

I have owned my own business for over 20 years. Way back I purchased family health insurance and I had pre-existing conditions, which made me pay a higher rate than the average person. After Obamacare, my rates and uncovered expenses soared much higher, even though they made a big deal that insurers had to cover pre-existing conditions. It became so expensive that my wife and to quit being a stay at home mom and got a full time job so that the family could have employer based health insurance instead of Obamacare.

1. Biden grew the size of government, we need it smaller.

2. The ACA premiums are going back to normal after the temporary Covid subsidy. Its not that Trump raised premiums, the democrats wrote the law that the subsidy ends at the end of 2025. ACA sinks or swims on its own, without subsidies.
