The NFL, NBA all of them with the possible exception of MLB or the NHL (because I don't watch them, I don't know) are totes about entertainment. Sports has nothing to do with what you're watching on TV. It's entertainment. Period.

And, yes Virginia, the games are 'managed'. It's not illegal for a League to determine who wins what where and how? At all. They all get the same money anyway. Everything is divided equally, even the Playoff money. So nobody's getting hurt. The Vikings and the Bungals get the same money from the League as the Iggles and the Chiefs.

It's like when a Movie director decides to change the outcome in the Movie that is different from in the Book. So what? You pays your money and you takes your chances.

An unacceptable situation is developing in San Antonio, Texas. The local rabble is petitioning to end a billionaire’s plan to use taxpayer money to build a new Spurs arena in downtown.

It can only be hoped that Governor Abbott and other powerful MAGA politicians will come to the rescue of this $4.5 billion development designed to serve tourists and billionaires. After all, the profit potential of this taxpayer investment for the city’s corporate interests is far more important than the wants of the insignificant locals who prefer their taxpaying money not go toward the new arena. These inconsequential people claim the arena complex will benefit only tourists and, especially, the billionaires.

MAGA citizens of Texas (and other states) should start their own initiatives to crush the petition opposing the new arena. Capitalists' profits are what makes America great.

Of all the new stadiums, that one is the clear winner. The one in LA looks really nice too, but it lacks any character, this one has all the character in the world with that incredible design. I tried to get on a tour of where the Raiders play in Vegas in February but the tours were all either sold out or canceled, I could never find out online which one it was, but I couldn't get in on the tour.
