Not sure what you mean but I don't think layaway purchases qualify as interest free loans.

When the inflation gets front-loaded like trump is doing, people will get used to paying too much long before the repatriated goods ever get made. China will be able to underprice them when the US goods do come, make more profit, and still eat up the market.
