The slave states wouldn't have ratified a Constitution banning slavery, so the odds are that you would either be a slave today IF slavery had lasted this long, or a third-class resident of the south since it's very unlikely the free states would have allowed any major migration of blacks from slave states. You might even have been a subject of a French Emperor since the Confederacy (or whatever the slave states called their country) wouldn't have had the military power to successfully oppose the French invasion of Mexico in 1861.

You are just being an idiot. The slave states were LESS willing to give up their slaves in 1787 than they were in 1860. They were willing to block the Declaration of Independence over anti-slavery language, they would have been happy to set up their own nation in 1787, but they got to have their cake and eat it too with the three fifths compromise that gave them control of the nation for over seven decades.

There were never more than a few hundred Gullahs at any one time. The Seminoles were defeated by almost exclusively southern forces. There was no standing army back then.

The dishonesty of whites like lisa, justaguy, hector, and others like them is amazing. From approximately 1776 until 1964 by written laws and policies non whites were excuded from everytng in America. That is racial preferences for 188 years overtly. For whites. That is 188 years of what whites like them call Affirmatve Action, DEI, etc. For 188 years non whites no matter how qualified were shut out. Yet these dishonest scabs want to pretend these days never happened, or want to pretend years they have seen were so long ago that such things do not happen today. They do this while presenting the same racism in their opinions that was going on during both slavery and Jim Crow. They are passing down the raxcism they learned in rhe past to the next generation, but they wantto tell me how racism doesn't exist anymore.
