"Smartphone journalists" are easily impressed. Put some metal on the phone and you´ll hear "Aaahhh" and Ooohhh" once and again. Quite silly, all the adulation. But look at this piece in ceramic:

Really cool. Many vendors have better designs then those Samsung offers but this one is really cool. Almost no edge. Do you wonder where there speaker might be? Then wonder again: There is none. Right, no speaker. Instead, really cool, the display produces the noise through vibration! Another good idea is the ratio of 17:9 that allows softkeys to be displayed and have a 16:9 picture, nevertheless. The panic starts on 4th November.

Sooo...then you can't get a protective cover because that would obviously affect the sound...so unless the glass is unbreakable...

Edge-less design is not all that impressive. Looks nice for the low price of losing all its durability.

Looks are important but not at the sacrifice of function.

Samsung is allegedly working on an edgeless display. Maybe it will be in the Galaxy S8. The Mi MIX display is from Sharp.

^ Why buy a 600 dollar device if you are going to treat it like a 10 dollar wall phone? I would just buy the wall phone for that. Better yet - get it free through your computer.
