We were told this would be horrible and millions would be out on the streets.

Those people either had to finally go get a job instead of living off uncle sucker, go back to their parents, or shifting gears to a welfare scam instead.

It's been way too long anyway and this was way overdue. There hasn't been a reason to not find a job this entire year. Property owners have been punished enough.

Property owners are idiots. If the rent was not so fucking atrocious, and assholes got off their asses and went back to work, there wouldn't be a problem
Instead of renting a property for REASONABLE amount, they get people in there that cant or won't pay. Or, they let the property sit empty for months until they find a sucker that agrees to rent, then doesn't once in. That is money lost forever. IF they rented a unit with a reasonable amount and NOT demand they make 3 times the asking rent, they MIGHT have permanent tenants. But nope. So the money they COULD have made with lower rent can never be replaced because it never existed for those months it sat empty.

The good news is...with so many being evicted....MAYBE rentals will be available for those who CAN and WILL pay REASONABLE rent. And in California, there is no such thing as reasonable any more. Morons.
